งาน “Meet the Ambassador” กับ ฯพณฯ ท่านพัก ยงมิน เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีประจำประเทศไทย ภายใต้หัวข้อเน้นย้ำซอฟต์พาวเวอร์และการทูตทางวัฒนธรรม
ในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 5 กันยายน 2567 มหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติแสตมฟอร์ดวิทยาเขต พระราม 9 กรุงเทพฯ ได้จัดงาน “Meet the Ambassador” ครั้งที่ 4 โดยมี ฯพณฯ ท่านพัค ยงมิน เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีประจำประเทศไทย เป็นวิทยากรรับเชิญพิเศษ งานนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการต่อเนื่องของแสตมฟอร์ด ที่มุ่งเปิดโอกาสให้คณาจารย์ บุคลากร นักศึกษา และศิษย์เก่า ได้สัมผัสกับวัฒนธรรม ภาษา และสังคมที่หลากหลายระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศอื่นๆ ในช่วงแรก ฯพณฯ ท่านพัคได้พบปะกับนักศึกษาเกาหลีที่มหาวิทยาลัยแสตมฟอร์ด เพื่อสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้นกับนักศึกษาเกาหลีภายในมหาวิทยาลัย จากนั้นได้กล่าวปาฐกถาพิเศษในหัวข้อ “ซอฟต์พาวเวอร์: การเสริมสร้างการทูตทางวัฒนธรรมในโลกสมัยใหม่” โดยได้กล่าวถึงความสำเร็จอันโดดเด่นของสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีในการใช้ซอฟต์พาวเวอร์เพื่อส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมของประเทศในเวทีโลก ซึ่งมอบความเข้าใจที่ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้นเกี่ยวกับการทูตทางวัฒนธรรมและความสำคัญของในโลกที่เชื่อมโยงถึงกันในปัจจุบัน งานนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมประมาณ 80 ถึง 95 คน ประกอบด้วยผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย คณาจารย์ และนักศึกษาปัจจุบัน ซึ่งล้วนได้รับประโยชน์จากความรู้และประสบการณ์อันกว้างขวางของท่านทูต มหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติแสตมฟอร์ดขอแสดงความขอบคุณอย่างจริงใจต่อ ฯพณฯ ท่านพัค ยงมิน และสมาชิกจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีที่ให้การสนับสนุนและแบ่งปันมุมมองอันมีคุณค่าแก่แสตมฟอร์ด
